Description: a: small cockade fan, paper printed on both side, same scene, Chinese, three wise gentlemen at the top, lady dancing near tree, lady at water, lady with ox, mounted on "gold" metal handle; b: box marked "Foldaway fan, folds to fit your handbag, Keep Cool, And Be Gay"; c: small cockade fan, paper printed on both sides, same scene, Chinese, two people standing in an open pavillion near pine trees, mounted on "gold" metal handle; d: box, same as "b" listed above; e: small cockade fan, paper printed on one side couple in small boat on "gold" water, other side flute player, mounted on light green metal handle; f: box same as "b" and "d". Dimensions: a,c,e: 5 1/8" x 3/4" x 1/2" (closed) b,d,f: 5-1/4" x 3/4" x 5/8" condition: mint, except "d" has flaps missing from one end. History: All made in Hong Kong. How lovely! Thess are probably closer to the 1960's. Not made in Japan, the imagery is Chinese. The metal is tinted, different colored cases. These are certainly souvenir types.
