Handwritten on the back in green pen, "Pipe being unloaded from Japanese ship Tamon Maru at 9th Ave. terminal." Photo shows a cargo ship [only a part of it visible in the photo] tied up to a dock. A crane from the ship is unloading a bundle of pipe which is suspended over the dock. On the dock is a forklift and another smaller vehicle that looks like a golfcart. One man is sittingin the forklift talking to another man standing next to it and still another man walking toward the forklift. A set of stairs is extended down from the ship to the dock and several nets are also hanging from the boat.
