Clipping from Tribune on the back, May 26, 1941-- "The first group of an estimated 1500 shipyard workers who returned to the Moore Dry Dock plant today is shown here as the men walked through the picket lines. They ignored the jeers of the C.I.O. pickets." Photo shows a small group of men and one woman walking past two lines of men being held back by police. The men standing on either side are the union members who are watching the scabs. Note, there are no African Americans in the photo.
