Handwritten on the back, "Centennial H-P Notable U.S. Joe Knowland and Amelia Earhart. test dinner at Athens Club." Photo shows Amelia sitting at a table with her elbows resting on the table and her hands clasped together. A young woman is sitting on her left and an older woman is sitting on her right. Standing behind Amelia is Knowland, wearing a tuxedo, and he appears to be giving a speech. Another man is standing next to Knowland and is holding a signed certificate of some kind for Knowland. On the table are various dinner plates and water glasses. In front of Amelia is a statue of an airplane.
