Handwritten in pencil on the back of the photo, "1st Tribune paper's after gen. strike was called off Thurs. Dec. 5th.--Dec 7, 1946." Photo shows a conveyor belt sticking up through the sidewalk loaded with newspapers. A man is lifting the newspaper off the belt, another man waiting in the back of a truck for the newspaper. Several other men watching the process.
